I started trapping, hunting, and fishing as a kid with my father. In the mid 80’s we move to Otsego County and I have been hunting and guiding Elk hunters for 35 years. I won’t ever promise you an elk but there are pretty few hunters that leave the woods without one. We get the opportunity to hunt some private land but do most of our hunting on state land. Camping and being in the woods is our favorite place to be and when you come out for a hunt with us you get treated like family. We cook meals together, camp out, and enjoy nature all while filling you tag- whatever you may have been drawn for. My family is multigenerational hunters at this point and we are honest sportsmen. While an elk is a beautiful trophy it’s also an abundance of quality food for your family. Doing things correct and legally is the best practice and gets the best results.
